OrderOcean does not scrape Etsy. All data access is through the official Etsy Open API v3 using seller-granted OAuth 2.0 authorisation only.
OrderOcean does not use Etsy data for marketing, advertising, audience profiling, or AI training.
Etsy API Integration – Seller-Authorised Order, Inventory & Fulfilment Management
OrderOcean uses the Etsy Open API v3 to give Etsy sellers seller-authorised control of their own orders, listings, inventory, and fulfilment. Sellers connect their Etsy shop through Etsy’s OAuth 2.0 authorisation flow. OrderOcean does not scrape Etsy and does not use Etsy data for marketing or advertising.
How Etsy Connection Will Work
- Create your OrderOcean account — sign up at orderocean.co.uk and complete the onboarding steps.
- Navigate to Integrations → Etsy — find the Etsy integration in your dashboard settings.
- Click “Connect Etsy shop” — you will be redirected to Etsy’s authorisation page.
- Review the permissions and click Authorise — Etsy will show you exactly which permissions OrderOcean is requesting. You grant access on Etsy’s own website; OrderOcean never sees your Etsy password.
- You are redirected back to OrderOcean — once Etsy API access is approved, your shop will be connected and your orders, listings, and inventory can begin syncing according to your settings.
You can disconnect your Etsy shop at any time. See the Disconnect your Etsy shop section below.
Permissions requested
OrderOcean requests only the permissions required for the features you enable. The following table lists every Etsy OAuth scope that may be requested:

OrderOcean does not request access to your buyer email addresses (email_r), your Etsy account profile (profile_r), or any other permissions beyond those listed above.

Etsy API Integration
Etsy API access is currently unavailable while OrderOcean completes Etsy’s API review process. The Etsy integration is not currently available to customers.
Sell on Etsy at Scale
After Etsy API approval, the planned integration will help keep shop inventory accurate and orders organised.
🧶 Etsy Inventory Sync
When Etsy API access is approved, stock levels will update across your Etsy shop and other connected channels. This is not currently available.
📋 Order Management
After Etsy API approval, Etsy orders will appear in the OrderOcean dashboard alongside other channel orders.
🏪 Multi-Channel Listing
The planned integration will allow sellers to manage their Etsy catalogue centrally after API approval.
🚚 Shipping & Labels
After approval, supported Etsy shipments will be manageable within OrderOcean.
📈 Etsy Sales Reporting
After Etsy API approval, sellers will be able to monitor Etsy performance alongside their other marketplaces.
🔄 Real-Time Sync
After Etsy API approval, orders, stock changes and listing updates will sync. Etsy sync is not currently available.
Data Use & Privacy
OrderOcean connects to your Etsy shop using Etsy's official OAuth 2.0 API. We only request the minimum permissions needed to operate the integration.
What We Do With Your Data
- Listing data is used solely to sync inventory quantities across your connected marketplaces
- Order data is used to display and manage orders within your OrderOcean dashboard
- We do not sell, share, or use your Etsy data for advertising or marketing purposes
- Your data is stored and processed using our contracted infrastructure providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, appropriate safeguards are applied, and data is never shared with third parties except as required to operate the service
Data Deletion & Disconnection
You can disconnect your Etsy shop from OrderOcean at any time from your account settings. When you disconnect:
- Your OAuth access token is immediately revoked and deleted from our systems
- Cached listing and order data is purged within 30 days
- You can also request immediate full data deletion by emailing [email protected]

Disconnecting your Etsy shop
You can disconnect your Etsy shop from OrderOcean at any time:
- Log in to your OrderOcean account.
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Etsy.
- Click Disconnect and confirm.
On disconnection, OrderOcean immediately revokes your OAuth tokens and removes them from our systems. Your Etsy shop data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days. See our Data Retention Policy for full details.
You can also revoke access directly from your Etsy account: go to Etsy.com → Account Settings → Security → Connected Applications and remove OrderOcean from there.
